An art journal page
Just having fun in my art journal! I was totally missing playing in my art journal while I was doing the last challenge. I picked up some silver mechanics tape (?) at our local home building store (Menards) and wanted to play with it. I stamped on it with staz-on.
PFEWWW! THAT WAS A FUN CHALLENGE!
There were times that I didn't think I would finish this challenge. And yet I thoroughly enjoyed myself while I was making the layouts. I was stumped a few times and had to wait for the inspiration to hit me, when I finally did I went with it. I now have two completely full albums of some really fun pages. I'M SO TOTALLY LOVING THEM!
Now, onto another challenge, ideas are brewing! Thanks for coming by.

Day 39 40 Day Scrapbooking Challenge BLING/SPARKLE
I went back and altered this side of the layout just a little bit more, the straight edges on the photo bothered me so I cut them a little more and then I added the word stickers on the top left and I put a flower sticker in the center of the chipboard flower. Now I'm done with it.

Day 26 40 Day Challenge BUTTONS
I found this fun "fiber"(pom pom yarn) at JoAnn's and just had to have it. It was in the yarn section. The cordurouy brads are from Close To My Heart. And the buttons are from my "button box".

Day 25 40 Day Challenge WEAVING
40 Day 24 Challenge LIQUID GLASS (glassy accents)
On these pages I used Jillibean for the base and Bella Blvd "Camped Out" for the cut out sentiments. I liquid glassed the owls that were printed on the page and then I did the same to all the sentiments. I liquid glassed the letters in "makin tracks". I think I will go back and liquid glass the leaves on the trees too.
Day 23 40 Day Challenge CHIPBOARD
I started with the two photos, then went through my stash of chipboard and papers and came up with this layout. I also used my cricut, sesame street font cart. To color the plain chipboard pieces I colored them red with a copic marker then liquid glassed them.
Some of the sketches really stump me, but once I get going the creative juices begin to flow. I get inspired when I go through my stashes and think about what I want to use up. Things that I've had forever it seems, jump out at me and say "use me"! It's been fun!

Day 22 40 Day Challenge COLLAGE
Collage is my absolute favorite so this layout took me a little longer than usual and now I'm a day behind. I'll try to get caught up again real soon. Wednesday night is scrapbooking night with my friends here at my house, so I'll work to catch up then. Anyway thanks for coming by. SYS!

Day 21 40 Day Challenge DRY EMBOSS
I used my Scrap Boss by Fiskars for these pages, I haven't used that in a long time. I really like how it turned out. I used Basic Grey's Capella papers for this lo. After I dry embossed the edges I sanded them a little to bring out the white core of this CTMH card stock. TFCB! (thanks for coming by)
With the myriads of choices for homemade flowers I chose to do some "lollipop" flowers. I made them out of packaging paper. I sprayed 4 different colors of glimmer mist on them to make them shine! The second flower is made from silk paper, foam and cardboard with a star brad in the center. I think they would look more like flowers had I drawn a stem with leaves. (hankodesigns.com)
Cyndi's Challenge Pages
I was able to get some pics of Cyndi's pages that she has finished so far. Well done Cyndi, I like what I see! Thanks for sharing Cyn!
