What I've Been Working On Lately...

I took Mary Ann Moss's class, Remains of the Day at
<>, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  At first, I thought I was biting off  way more than I could chew, but as I began it just flowed and came together quickly.  I did it in stages and "wallah" I'm finished.

I plan to use this journal as a travel journal.  My husband and I are going on a cruise for our 25th Wedding Anniversary this winter, so I "Bahama'd" it up and made it very tropical like.  I definitely want to make more.  I really liked the class and I really like how the journal turned out!

Below are just a few of the pages...they're are 88 pages in all.

Challenge 41 is Wrap photos with string or ribbon and add a tag

I have to admit that it has been really hard staying the course with this challenge this summer.  And yet, here I go trudging forward.  Only 11 left to go.  It's also getting harder to decide on what to do for the challenges.  Any ideas?  If so, drop me a comment below this post.  Thanks.

Here's my Swirls! Results for Challenge 40 of the 52 Week Scrapbooking Challenge

Summer has been a bit busy.  So sorry for posting this page a week late.  Here it is:
I used my Cricut markers in the Cricut to draw the scallops on both sides and then I cut out the swirls from cardstock.  I'm thinking I might go back and add some decorative mat to the photo.

Here's another page that was done for this challenge:  CLICK HERE to check out the Nickel Nooks.
